Our Story

buddyhuddle was born out of a simple frustration: the endless group chats, the "I'm down if you are" messages, and the plans that never leave the group chat. We knew there had to be a better way to coordinate with friends without the hassle.

We constructed buddyhuddle from our own personal experiences of missed connections and chaotic planning. We wanted a tool—simple, fun, and effective—that we would actually enjoy using for our own weekend trips, dinner parties, and pickup games.

The Problem: Group Chat Chaos

We've all been there. You want to plan a weekend trip or just a simple dinner with friends. You start a group chat. Excitement is high. But then, the chaos begins.

• Buried Details: Important info like "Where?" and "When?" gets lost in a sea of memes and side conversations.
• Fragmented Planning: You have a Note for the packing list, a spreadsheet for costs, and a chat for talking. It's a mess.
• The "Who's Bringing What?" Mystery: Everyone assumes someone else is bringing the ice. No one brings the ice.
• Money Awkwardness: Chasing friends for their share of the Airbnb or dinner bill is uncomfortable and exhausting.

Great plans often die in the group chat simply because coordinating them is too much work.

The Solution: Huddle Up

We built buddyhuddle to be the antidote to planning fatigue. We didn't just want another chat app; we wanted a dedicated space where friendships could thrive through shared experiences.
